Pages are read one at a time in your browser. Word keeps the page spacing, logos, pictures, lines, and approximate font positions while recognised text stays editable. Up to 20 PDF pages.

Conversion notes

Scanned PDF to editable Word: Use Recognise text. It rebuilds recognised writing as editable text while retaining logos, diagrams, borders, and the original page arrangement.

Standard PDF to Word/PowerPoint: Every PDF page is placed visually into the Office file, preserving appearance but not rebuilding scanned writing as editable text.

Word/PowerPoint to PDF: Text, tables, pictures, and slide content are exported. Advanced animations, embedded media, charts, and Office-only effects may be simplified.

Password-protected documents are not processed.

Privacy: OCR runs in your browser. Only the retained page artwork and recognised text positions are briefly assembled into your Word download; files are not added to quizzes, profiles, or the document library.
